City Hall
Flash Mob and Street Theater
"An event to create space for us to publicly acknowledge institutional racism, the harm it continues to do to our sisters and brothers of color and give them some tools to help change systemic injustice. We also help reclaim the focus of Colin Kaepernick’s protest back to the treatment of people of color and away from the false narrative of it being anti-American.”
With prayer and song, people will read the names of people of color who, while unarmed, have been killed by police officers and will take a public oath to work to dismantle systemic racism and work for racial equality." Reception follows at Temple Sinai. Free.
(This is a community initiative.)
