Pop-Up film Love in the Time of Fentanyl

Join us for a free screening + community-driven conversation of the Indie Lens Pop-Up film Love in the Time of Fentanyl,followed by local resource sharing from VOCAL-NY, Harm Reduction Works, and others. This event will conclude with optional training on how to use Narcan (naloxone) in the event of an overdose, presented by Project Safe Point.  These screenings are co-sponsored by WMHT, MDOCS | Skidmore College, and MDOCS Co-Creation Initiative community partner Harm Reduction Works. (With additional support from the NY State Department of Education).

This exclusive hour-long excerpt of the film Love in the Time of Fentanyl brings viewers on an intimate visit to Vancouver’s Overdose Prevention Society and the safe injection site created by and for a marginalized community ravaged by fentanyl deaths. The full film Love in the Time of Fentanyl premieres on Independent Lens Monday, February 13, 2023. Watch on PBS and the PBS Video app starting at 10pm.
