Reading Discussion and Art Making

  • Saratoga Springs Public Library 49 Henry Street Saratoga Springs, NY, 12866 United States (map)

C.R.E.A.T.E. and the Saratoga Educational Equity Network (SEEN) are collaborating on our 4th series of reading, discussion and art-making workshops, sponsored by the Saratoga Springs Public Library and funded by Humanities New York. In this series, we take a closer look at community, belonging, race and gender through the lens and writings of bell hooks. We’ll be reading selections from All About Love and belonging. Books can be found in the Reading Group section of the Saratoga Springs Public Library, Northshire Bookstore and the SEEN Little Free Libraries. We will meet for discussion and art making on 3/20, 4/3, 4/17, 5/1 and 5/15 in the Susman Room at SSPL.
